Session Abstract

Congratulations on owning a cannabis-based business. If you are like so many other Oklahomans, the chance to be a part of a new and exciting industry segment is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The good news is, the market is obviously ripe in our state. What’s the bad news you ask? Well, as of March 1, 2019, there were more than 900 dispensary licenses distributed to excited “cannapreneurs” such as yourselves. That means it is important to use your head, get the word out fast and strong and don’t waste precious funds – it may seem like the gravy train has made a full-stop in our state, but there is always a chance that too could dry up like the oil in the 1980s.

Marketing in a highly competitive and turgid industry segment is serious business. There is no better way to connect with potential consumers than budgeting, planning and executing a comprehensive marketing plan which demands a keen strategy and layers of tactics to ensure you aren’t going to be just one of 900, you are going to be the one in 900! Attendees to Five Keys to Effective Cannabis Marketing in Oklahoma will gain a basic understanding of the essentials needed to build their business successfully from a marketing standpoint. Whether that is engaging the right audience, crafting the right message or utilizing the limited number of legal marketing tools available to attract, engage and convert clients.

Bring your notepads, pens, laptops and iPads to take copious notes. This seminar will not disappoint – whether you are a marketing novice or a skilled guru, you will gain valuable knowledge and immediately tangible skills you can parlay into your business to gain further market share.
