Session Title: Panel – Cannabis Facility Technology

Professional Summary

Scott graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. Originally from Chicago, he serves as a National Account Manager for Trane Chicago and is also the lead for the indoor agriculture vertical market.

Scott has been in the industry for over 5 years and his primary role has been to support owners, consulting engineers, and contractors in designing sustainable, energy-efficient facilities. He is trained on a variety of HVAC systems ranging from custom dehumidification units to VRF split systems, and has the ability to integrate building automation systems (BAS) to streamline facility management, scheduling, and alarm notifications.

Scott recognizes that cannabis cultivation centers require unique designs compared to a traditional building/HVAC system. He is passionate about informing owners and engineers that these systems need to be designed right from the beginning in order to avoid future temperature and humidity issues, which will ultimately lead to crop loss and operational inefficiencies.
